Who is chosen to swim the relays?

This is data driven. The top four times as documented prior to the meet, aka "seed times." This is why the Gator meet matters.

Which races will my kids swim?

  • This is up to the coaches, you can state interests in a stroke but the coaches decide.
  • Being able to swim without getting disqualified is called having a legal stroke.
  • Ideally, your swimmer is legal and then entered into a race, sometimes we are growing in our skills and give it our best shot.

Fun fact: you cannot be disqualified from freestyle. It is truly "free" style. The years have taught us the most efficient way to do it, but any movement is welcome and no one is disqualified.
